Caroline has been teaching group fitness for quite a long time – yes, since the mid-70’s. Over all these years, she has taken continuing education courses for just about every variety of class formats, (yes even fads like the Reebok Slide) so you may find her subbing just about any class. She is not only AFAA certified but also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from the State University of New York at Cortland, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was a Physical Education teacher in the New York School systems.
Caroline wants participants to “Enjoy Being Active” and “Feel Good about Themselves,” both mentally and physically. Her enthusiasm and energy level is contagious. She strives to provide a positive, open and encouraging environment for members of all fitness levels.
She focuses on safety and body alignment, educating participants regarding their form, along with demonstrating and discussing different levels, modifications and intensities so everyone is working within a range their bodies will allow….while still challenging themselves.
Caroline also loves the “social component” of Group Exercise….Like we are all in this together, having our own “exercise party.”
She looks forward to seeing you in class!
